working principle

(1) The filter press is composed of frame, filter plate, pressing system (manual, mechanical and hydraulic) and electrical control cabinet.

(2) The frame part plays the role of supporting the pressing device and filter plate, and is composed of base, push plate, tail plate and main beam.

(3) The filter plate is installed on the main beam between the tail plate and the push plate, with filter cloth sandwiched between them.

(4) During operation, the push plate is pushed by the purple pressing device (oil cylinder piston rod or lead screw) to compress the filter plate and filter cloth between the push plate and the tail plate. A filter chamber is formed between the compressed filter plate and the filter plate. The materials pressed by the material pump enter each filter chamber from the feed hole of the tail plate, and the solid particles are intercepted in the filter chamber and form a filter cake, The liquid is discharged from the machine through the filter cake and filter cloth through the liquid outlet hole. If the filter cake needs to be washed, wash the filter cake with washing water through the washing liquid port on the tail plate. Similarly, if the filter cake needs to be dried, compressed air can be introduced through the washing liquid port to dry the filter cake.

(5) The structure of the plate and frame filter press frame is the same as that of the box filter press frame, except that the filter part is composed of filter cloth plate by frame, and the plate and frame space is a filter chamber.

(6) The liquid flow form of filter press is divided into open flow and dark flow. Open flow means that the filtrate is directly discharged from the outlet hole of each filter plate; Undercurrent means that the filtrate of each filter plate is combined and discharged out of the machine through the liquid outlet channel.
